Absolute and total French implosion of a maginot line magnitude?  Check.  Dirty italian footballers sent packing in hilarious fashion? Check.  Good ol’ US of A winning their group? Check.

I am totally satisfied no matter what happens after this.  Nick Saban could come coach the US the rest of the way and I wouldn’t care.  The only way the results of the group stage could have been any sweeter would be if Burt Reynolds tracked down Koman Coulibaly and executed him Deliverance style.
